Despite the inability to make firm predictions on a number of regulatory issues, due to the fact that the Productivity Commission’s Report on Gambling had not yet been released by Government, speakers and attendees enjoyed lively and, at times, fierce, debate on where the industry is headed and who is best-placed to win out in the new market conditions and realities.

An example of the predictions made at the conference were that we would see more boutique operators with niche services who will compete on pricing, and that the revenues of the corporate bookies would be similar to that of the Totes in five years time.

Thanks to our sponsors, ePay and World-Check, and to all our speakers, for making GRWA such a successful event, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
